 Robert S. Brown, age 78 passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 at his residence in Indianapolis.

 He was born July 20, 1933 in Richelieu, Kentucky to the late Fred and Gertrude (Staton) Brown. 

Robert is survived by his children: Judy E. Brown of Brown County and Toney R. (Carol) Brown of Glasgow, KY; two sisters: Colleen Gibson of Auburn, KY and Pearl Shuey of Dayton, OH; two brothers: Willis Brown of Poland and Junior Brown of Spencer; two grandchildren: Sgt. Matthew D. Wilson of Warner Robins AFB in Georgia & Kayla R. Brown of Brownsburg; three great grandchildren: Laura, Morgan & Genevieve Wilson all of Warner Robins AFB in Georgia.

 Robert was preceded in death by three sisters: Clyde Pulley, Mabel Jones & Mary Dee Johnson; two brothers: Frank & Bill Brown.

 He retired in 1995 as a Foreman with the Telepower Tree Service (formerly known as: Muncie Tree Service) after 30 years of service. Robert enjoyed hunting squirrel and rabbits, fishing and working in his garden. He raised beagle hounds and loved to watch old western movies. Robert loved spending time with his dog, "Fox Dog".

 A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Tuesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 3 pm until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Judy & Tony, I am so sorry for your lost. I can not put into words my thoughts & feelings for Bob, he was far more than just an uncle to me. It is hard to bare the thought of him being gone. A lot of people did not understand him, for he lived his life like the John Wayne movies, He was not going to be wronged, disrespected or taking advantage of by anyone, and he spoke his mind. He did things his way! I always admired & respected him for that.
