Nancy J. (Eversole) Fields 76 passed away Thursday
afternoon, February 2, 2012 at her residence in Martinsville.
Nancy was born July 28, 1935 in Hazard, KY to the
late Finley and Dortha Eversole. She married her loving
husband of 58 years, Charles Fields on August 29, 1953 in
Indianapolis. He survives.
Also surviving are her children: Linda C.
Arsenault of Martinsville, Charlene Fields of Plainfield, Kenneth
(wife, Debbie) Fields of Brown County & Danny (Wife, Lisa)
Walker of Martinsville; Nancy will be remembered by her siblings:
sisters: Sharon Predemore of Indianapolis, Alma Mae Fields of
Cincinnati, OH, Mary Oma Rode of Martinsville, & Elizabelle
Bray of Indianapolis, James Alan Eversole of OK, Claude Eversole of
Frankfort, KY. She was the grandmother to eight grandchildren and
fourteen great grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her sisters: Vergie
Eversole & Bernice Bowlin and one brother: Wade Eversole.
She retired in 1995 as a Cook & Food Server
with the Martinsville School District after 30 years of service.
Nancy enjoyed cooking for her family & friends and playing
euchre & poker. She enjoyed fishing, watching the
butterflies and mushroom hunting.
The Rev. Christopher Jones will conduct a funeral
service at 10:30 am Monday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home
Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in
Morgantown. Friends may call from 1 to 5 pm Sunday at the
funeral home. Burial will be at Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery
inMartinsville.
