I am so sorry for your loss. I grow up with Mike and we played lots of sports with the neighborhood kids. He was very athletic-all american type boy. I later worked with Mike for a few years at Sabin; then only occasionally ran into him in later yrs. I will think him as the happy, talented, and athletic boy I remember.

Dearest Romilda and family, my heart goes out to you all as I just heard the news of losing Michael from my parents this morning. My mind raced back to when we were little...those wonderful, wonderful summers spent with you and Bob. Singing "In the Little Red Schoolhouse"..."The Wizard of Oz"..."Snow White and the Seven Dwarves". We became so close during those summer productions, I don"t know if you realize how memorable and important those times were to all of us. I thank you for sharing so much of yourselves with that extended family. I can see Michael flashing that smile...those eyes sparkling. The Hamontre family will always have a very special place in my heart and memory. ~ With much love, Heidi Coleman Burton

I have many memories of Mike being at our house with my big brother Steve...He loved eating our Mom's homemade Mexican food and was there for many family dinners with us...I am 7 years younger than them and had a huge crush on Mike...he had the sweetest smile...and jokingly used to tell me that when I turned 18, he would marry me. Peace, Prayers and Blessings to you as you go through this heartbreaking time.

Dear Phyllis and Aunt Romilda - I just learned of Michael's passing, and I am so sorry. When I was a little kid, Michael was my favorite cousin because he was always so happy and smiling and interested in what I had to say (just like my brother Miles, and the two of them looked so much alike). The last time I saw Michael was at my Dad's funeral in 1992. Sometimes families lose touch when an older member dies, and the Englands have always had issues, but it has always bothered me that one side of my family disappeared. I hope one of you will please email me at staceylorin@aol.com to let me know how you are doing, and I admit that I would like to know how Michael died. From what I have heard, it may be something that runs in the family, so I think it's important to know. Again, I am so sorry...even though decades have passed since I had my sweet cousin in my life, I feel a tremendous loss.
