Marshall L. "Marty" Perry II, age 49 passed away Sunday
afternoon, April 11, 2010 at his residence in Brown County.
He was born November 27, 1960 in Franklin. He is survived by his
caring father Marshall L. Perry and his wife Connie of
Indianapolis, and his loving mother Virginia L. (Parson) Perry of
Brown County. Other survivors include his devoted companion:
Melissa Webb of Brown County; one brother: Gary L. Manning and his
wife Nancy of Brown County; one nephew Grant Manning and a niece:
Megan Krause; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marty was a 1979 graduate of Brown County High School. He was a
self employed contractor. Prior to that, he was employed by Wilhelm
Construction Co. in Columbus. Marty was a member of the Local
Contractors Union. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, dirt bikes,
go-cart racing and playing softball. Marty's artistic ability
allowed him to do unique paintings on various items.
The Rev. G. Michael Goodwin will conduct a Celebration of Life 11
am Wednesday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation &
