Lula Belle (Smith) Vandeventer, age 63 passed away Saturday
morning, April 10, 2010 at her residence in Trafalgar.
She was born October 18, 1946 in London, KY to the late Walter and
Ida Mae (Barger) Smith. She married her loving husband of 47 years,
Lowell D. Vandeventer on November 3, 1962 in London, KY. He
survives.
Lula Belle was the cherished mother of Tina Beaty and her husband
Thomas of Franklin and Lowell Dan Vandeventer Jr. and his wife
Sandy of Trafalgar. She was grandma to Lowell Daniel Vendeventer
III and his wife Kendra & Travis Justinwayne Vendeventer and
his wife Deandra all of Trafalgar, Zachary Thomas Beaty, Justin
Dylan Beaty & Dalton Uriah Beaty all of Franklin. Lula Belle
will be remembered by her sister: Daisy Phillips of
Indianapolis.
Lula Belle was preceded in death by one sister: Ruby J. Sizemore
and two brothers: James & Gilbert Smith.
She retired in 2002 as a production worker from Arvin Industries in
Franklin after 28 years of service. Lula Belle was a 10 year member
of the Locus Grove Pentecostal Church in Trafalgar.
She was known for her homemade rolls and chicken & Noodles.
Lula Belle enjoyed mushroom hunting, working in her flower gardens
and watching & feeding the birds. She loved spending time with
her grandchildren and caring for her dog "Tiffiany".
