Luella L. (Hoagland) Huff, age 71 passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, June 20, 2011 at her residence in Morgantown. By her side was her loving & devoted husband of 54 years, David W. Huff whom she married on June 23, 1956 in Morgantown.

Luella was born January 7, 1940 in Morgantown to the late Isaac N. & Charleen F. (Haggard) Hoagland. She was also preceded in death by one daughter and one son: Diana G. Huff & Darren M. Huff; one sister: Winona Barnett and one brother: Isaac (Ike) Hoagland II.

Luella was the mother to: David L. Huff of Morgantown and grandma to three grandchildren: Courtney Huff, Shaley Huff & Alexandra Huff all of Columbus. Luella will be remembered by her four brothers: Robert S. (wife, Frances) Hoagland of Bloomington, Daniel D. (wife, Opal) of Morgantown, Samuel H. (wife, Sandy) Hoagland of Franklin & Charles N. (wife, Brenda) of Martinsville.

Luella retired in 1996 as an Assembler for RCA in Bloomington after 32 years of service. After retirement, she worked part time in the Deli at the Morgantown IGA from 2005 to 2009. She also worked on the Santa Set at the Greenwood Mall taking photographs for the last 10 years.

Luella was a 10 year member of the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Martinsville, and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star #579 of Morgantown, where she was a Past Matron. Luella loved to travel with her husband on their motorcycle and playing Mrs. Clause during the holidays. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading.

Luella's wishes for cremation with no funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
