Lester Brock, age 77 passed Monday evening,July 18, 2011 at the Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. He was a resident of Nashville.

 Lester was born December 12, 1933, in Rockcastle County,KY, to the late Sim France and Virgie (Simpson) Brock.

 He is survived by his three sisters:  Lottie Collins & Doris Arnold both of BrownCounty and Beulah Hatfield of Modesto, CA; and brother:  Sim (wife, Bertha) Brock of Brown County. 

 Lester was preceded in death by sisters:  Dollie Moore, Jewell Brock & Nellie Jo Brock and brothers:  Rufus, Morris, Edgar, Lloyd, & Hobert "AG" Brock.

 He spent most of his life as a dedicated farmer and logger.  Lester also worked with R.H. Marlin & Company in Indianapolis from 1959 to 1969 and was a carpenter with D & J Construction in Columbus. 

 He was a member of the Lowell Baptist Church.  He enjoyed searching for mushrooms, pitching horseshoes, fishing, telling stories and listening to bluegrass music. 

 The Rev. Ron Hampton will conduct a Graveside Funeral Service,10:00 am Saturday at the Spearsville Wesylan Church Cemetery, 9174 North Upper Bean Blossom,Spearsville,IN.
