Larry J. Lambert, age 58 passed away Monday
morning, February 20, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer,
at Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. He was a
resident of Nineveh.
He was born February 3, 1954 in Franklin to the
late Ralph & Frances M. (Statom) Lambert. Larry married his
loving wife, Lora J. (Clark) Lambert on July 7, 2007 in Trafalgar.
He served as a Private First Class with the Unites States Army.
He was the father to: Tammy (husband, Matt) Maddux
of Whiteland & Jason Lambert of Nineveh. He will be remembered
by his siblings: Christina M. Dahlstrom, Alvin L. Lambert &
David G. Lambert all of Nineveh, James R. Lambert of Edinburgh
& Ronnie B. Lambert of Brown County; three grandchildren: Larry
Lambert III & Breanna Lambert of Nineveh and Elianna Maddux of
Whiteland.
Larry, alongside his brother, was the co-owner
& operator of Lambert's Salvage in Morgantown during the
1980's. He worked as a Trader and raised chickens, goats & pigs
on his family farm. He was known for his quick whit and story
telling. Larry enjoyed spending time with family, collecting guns
& coins, and watching western movies. Larry attended the Faith
Full Gospel Church in Brown County.
The Rev. Jim Hoskins will conduct a Memorial
Service 7 pm Friday at the Faith Full Gospel Church, 6881 N. St.
Rd. 135 in Brown County. Friends may call from 5 pm until service
time on Friday at the church. Funeral arrangements have been
entrusted to Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation &
Personalization Center in Morgantown.
