Jimmy was the best man at my wedding 23 years ago & was my best friend. We became friends in 4th grade when we got in trouble for fighting, while the teacher was out of the room. We were both friends of David Percifield, so we all hung out together. The Percifield moved to Columbus IN so me & Jimmy hung out more. He was a good person with a big heart & I will miss him. But I will always carry his memories with me. My condolences to his: Wife,Children,Parents & Siblings. Cherish his memory. God Bless

Aunt Faye, and Uncle Russell, Dad told me about Jimmys' passing. I was very saddened by the news. I have very fond memories of visiting your home as a child and a Young Man. Jim and I always had to kind of team up against the older boys, Rick, Carl, and Bobby. They never treated us too bad, but they did let us know they were older. I truly enjoyed fishing with Jim. No one ever lost a lure when he was at the creek. He would always wade out and get it if you got hung up. I'm sorry I lost contact with all of you as I grew older. It's something I will regret. But I notice in life we tend to such things. Sorry I had to miss the services also. Love You All, Jeff Baker,Audrey Baker, and Gramma Patty Baker

Jim, you were always very kind to me, regardless of circumstances. You always had a joke and a smile whenever I saw you. I regret that I didn't get the chance to know your sweet children as they grew older. I'm confident that you did a great job being their father all of these years. I'm sorry that you had to go. The world was a better place with you in it. May peace and comfort find Gwenn, Allison, Morgan, Lilly, and Jacob today and always.

Prayer has been my refuge since I moved away from my family back in Indiana. Gwenn I have begged God for comfort to visit you and your kids. Look unto Jesus in your weekest hour He will be your strongest comfort. Grandpa Steininger probably would have said to you "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." [Proverbs 46:1] I wish we could have been home to cry with you. Gary, Amy and Tori Sisson, Port St. Lucie, Florida
