Jack A Shearin, age 70 passed away Friday evening, July 15, 2011
at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was a resident of
Morgantown.
Jack was born April 9, 1941, in Lancaster, KY, to the late Frank
and Bertha Jane (Hatfield) Shearin. He married Louise (Osborne)
Shearin on March 10, 1960 in Bedford, KY. She survives after 51
loving years.
Jack is also survived by four daughters that he adored very much:
Leta (husband, Randy) Mahan & Rocki (husband, Marcus) Billings,
both of Morgantown, Kay (husband, Kenny) Baker & Robin
(husband, Frank) Burns both of Martinsville. He will be missed by
his 10 grandchildren: Chad & Nick Mahan, Kalob & Kolt
Baker, Kortney Pitts, Kira Keeler, Brittni & Chelsi Snyder,
Jaleasa Jenkins & Jordan BIllings; 10 Great Grandchildren;
Sister: Mary (husband Wayne) Davis of Tulsa, OK; and brothers: Bill
Shearin of Spencer & Frank Shearin Jr. of Greenwood.
He was preceded in death by his sister: Sarah Francis
Bartlett.
Jack was an entrepreneur and self employed building contractor. He
owned American Pleasure Pools during the late 1980's and was a
supervisor for United Consultants in Morgantown.
Jack was a dedicated member of the Independent Church of the First
Born in Martinsville, Greenwood Masonic Lodge & Indianapolis
York Rite. He faithfully studied his bible and cherished every
moment spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jack
enjoyed raising livestock and making wines.
Dennis Pope and Stan White will conduct a Funeral Service at on
Tuesday at noon, with visitation from 9:00 am till the time of
service at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown.
The family of Jack Shearin has requested there be no flowers
sent.

Morgantown Fire Dept. , 269 North Highland Street, Morgantown, IN

Avenue, Martinsville, IN 46151.
