Hareld E. Ford, age 81 passed away Tuesday
afternoon, December 6, 2011 at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Hospital
in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Nashville.
Hareld was born January 13, 1930 in Hamblen
Township,Brown County to the late Reynold and Mary (Anderson)
Ford. He married his loving wife of 60 years, Juanita
(Stinson) "Pug" Ford on March 24, 1951 in Brown County. She
survives.
Hareld was the devoted father of Sandy Eastwood
& Brenda Cochran both of Nashville. He will be remembered by
his four grandchildren: Eric Eastwood & Nolan Eastwood both of
Trafalgar, Brandi (husband, Farley) Harper of Nashville, Keirsh
Cochran of Franklin; eight great grandchildren: Brianna &
Colten Harper, Haley, Levi, Aurora, Owen, Ryder & Seth
Eastwood. Hareld will be missed by his sister-in-law: Helen Ford of
Franklin.
He was preceded in death by his brother: James A.
Ford.
Hareld served as a Private with the United
States Army from 1951 to 1953. He retired in 1997 as a Fork Lift
Operator for Arvin Industries in Franklin, after 30 years of
service. Hareld's true passion was working on his family farm in
Brown County raising Black Angus Cattle, corn and hay.
He was a 50 year member of the Nineveh Masonic
Lodge #315, 39 year member of the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis and
a member of the Franklin American Legion. Hareld enjoyed relaxing
on his property under a shade tree watching people go by and
visiting with neighbors. He enjoyed his time socializing at the
Gatesville store with his friends. Hareld was a fan of Western
Movies, Red Skelton and the Nightly News. He loved spending time
with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conduct at 10:30 am
Saturday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation &
Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends
may call from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home on Friday. The Nineveh
Masonic Lodge will conduct a Masonic Service, 7:30 pm on Friday at
the funeral home. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh
with Military Rites presented by the Brown County American Legion
and Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guards.
