Hansford "Hank" Kelly, age 67 passed away Wednesday morning,
February 9, 2011 at his residence in Brown County.
He was born July 2, 1943, in Knott Co., KY, to the late George
Washington and Mary Magdalena (Beverly) Kelley. Hank married his
loving wife of 46 years, Judith Ann Butts on March 23, 1964 in
Spartanburg, S.C. She lovingly survives in Brown County.
He retired after 35 years from being owner and operator of Indiana
Drywall & Acoustics Inc. in Morgantown. Hank also worked as an
estimator at K 2 Drywall Company with his son Greg.
He was the loving father to two daughters: Michelle (Cory) Joy of
Morgantown & Jennifer Cambridge of Nashville and two sons:
Pastor Michael (Stacia) Kelly of Solsberry, IN & Gregory
(Stacy) Kelly of Nashville. Hank will be missed by his 13 grandsons
and 2 granddaughters. He is also survived by his six sisters: Marie
(Ray) Powers, Martha (Keith) Gardner, Pauline (Ellis) Moore,
Jacqueline Key, Mary Jo (Dan) Conner all of Ohio & Millie (Ken)
Taylor of TN; and four brothers: Thomas (Bonnie) Kelley, John
Raymond (Brenda) Kelley both of Ohio, Jack Kelly of Georgia &
Richard (Kim) Kelley of FL.
Hank was preceded in death by a brother Palmer Kelly.
He was a member of the House of Prayer Church in Ellettsville and
also belonged to Carpenters Union Local 60 of Indianapolis.
Hank loved his work and enjoyed working. He found great pleasure in
reading, especially his Bible and nothing was more precious than
time spent with his grandchildren.
The Pastor Larry Mitchell & Pastor Michael Kelly will conduct a
funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the New Life Community
Church at 1450 State Road 135 North, Nashville, IN 47448. Friends
may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the New Life Community Church.
Burial will follow the service at East Hill Cemetery in
Morgantown.
Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Hansford family to
Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 E. 17th Street, Columbus, IN
47201.
