Gwynn "Tim " C. Fesler, age 91 passed away Friday morning,
February 10, 2012 at Franklin United Methodist Community surrounded
by his loving family. He was a life long resident of
Morgantown.
He was born April 2, 1920, in Morgantown, to the late Timothy
and Lula (Coleman) Fesler. He married his loving wife,
MaryBelle Rainwater on November 17, 1941 in Franklin. She
preceded him in death on May 14, 2002.
Tim retired from Kraft Foods in 1982 after 28 years as a Sales
Representative. He was an avid Indiana University basketball
fan and Indianapolis Colts fan. Tim enjoyed his early morning
Coffee Club with his friends.
Tim was an Elder and a Deacon of the Morgantown First Christian
Church where he was a member for over 58 years. He was also a
member of the Morgantown Masonic Lodge, the Eastern Star and the
Indianapolis Scottish Rite. He served on the Jackson
Township Advisory Board, and was the past president of the Morgan
County Hospital Board. He was also the past president of the
East Hill Cemetery Association and a former member of the
Morgantown Rural Volunteer Fire Department.
Mr. Fesler served his country as a Sergeant in the United States
Army during WWII.
Tim is survived by this two daughters: Lynn (husband,
Henry) Lewis of Franklin & Marcia (husband, Ron) Lewis of
Morgantown; his son William (wife, Lora) Fesler of Whiteland; 5
grandchildren: Kelli (husband, Brian) Webb of Whiteland,
Scott Fesler of Greenwood, Mike (wife, Mindi) Lewis of Franklin,
Denny (wife, Dana) Lewis of Newburgh & Chris Lewis of
Trafalgar; & seven great grandchildren.
Tim was preceded in death by his sisters: Wilma Snider,
Irene Whitaker & Rema Fesler; and two brothers: Leon
& Charles Fesler.
The Revs. Burt Brock & Lee Snider will conduct a funeral
service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home
Cremation & Personalization Center located at 179 E. Mulberry
Street in Morgantown. Burial will follow at East Hill
Cemetery, Morgantown. Friends are invited to call from 4:00 -
8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
