Frank A. Andrews age 90 passed away Sunday morning, December 26, 2010 at Franklin Meadows Nursing Home in Franklin. He was a resident of Morgantown.

Frank was born February 8, 1920 in Illinois to the late Bill & Della Andrews. He married his loving wife of 57 years Iola Kay Dillard on April 13, 1953 in Orleans, IN. She survives.

Frank is also survived three sons: Harry (wife Diane) Gill, Craig (wife Linda) Andrews both of Franklin & Garry Andrews of Whiteland; one brother: George "Sunny" Andrews of Paoli; seven grandchildren & five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter: Kay Andrews; one son: Ronnie Gill; one sister: Peggy Ann Rowe & one brother: William "Bill" Andrews.

Frank served as a Gunner's Mate Third Class with the United Sates Navy during World War II. He was a retired truck driver for the Johnson County Highway Department. Frank was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed fishing and canning with his wife.

The Rev. John Long will conduct a funeral service 1 pm Thursday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery in Martinsville. Military graveside rites will be presented by the Martinsville American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guards.
