Dorothy Jean (Conway) Brown age 84 passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. She was a resident of Fruitdale.

Dorothy was born October 18, 1926 in Indianapolis to the late Lawrence and Sylvia (Bennett) Conway. She married her devoted husband of 41 years, Arthur K. "Art" Brown on August 23, 1969 in Elk Point, S.D. He survives.

Dorothy is also survived by her loving children: Linda K. Lennon of Des Moines, IA and Steven Wayne (wife, Carol) Adams of Nineveh. She will be remembered by her sister: Jo Ann Lee of Kokomo, 6 grandchildren: Steve, Suzanne, Nate, Cherie, Byron & Chantel and 9 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by one sister: Evelyn Garrard and two brothers: Dallas & Charles Conway.

She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. Dorothy loved going fishing and camping with her husband, working in her flower gardens, and enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching television.

The Rev. Burt Brock will conduct a funeral service at 1:30 pm, Thursday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery Morgantown.
