Donna L. (Satter) Parson, age 66 passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.  She was a resident of Martinsville and a life-long resident of Morgan County.

Donna was born June 15, 1945 in Martinsville to the late William "Bill" & Freida F. (McLary) Satter. She married Lewis V. Parson on June 22, 1963 in Brown County. He preceded her in death on September 3, 1990, after 27 loving years.

Donna is survived by one daughter: Tammy R. (husband, Tim) Williams of Liberty; one son: Rob L. Parson of Martinsville; Eight grandchildren: Amber, Tasha, Chantz, Ben, Dallas, Brandon & Josh Parson & Riley Williams. She will be remembered by her siblings: Sherri Budd of Greenwood, Tony Satter of California, Gary Satter & Joe Satter both of Morgantown; Four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by one son: Randy K. Parson on January 23, 2003.

She retired in 1999 after 35 years of service at RCA in Bloomington.

Donna enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Matt Satter will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 pm Monday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends and family may call from 10 am till time of service on Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.

    Our sincerest sympathy to the family. Aunt Donna was much loved by the Casey's. So sorry we can't be there with you in person, but we are there in thoughts. Much love
