Service Date:The Rev. James Brown will conduct a funeral service at noon Saturday at the Bean Blossom Baptist Church, 5858 Spearsville Road in Brown County. Friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service Saturday at the church. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.

Diana S. (Decker) McKinney, age 50, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, June 29, 2010 at her residence in Brown County.

She was born October 23, 1959 in Indianapolis to Robert and Sylvia (Drake) Decker, whom both survive in Indianapolis. Diana married Michael C. McKinney on November 8, 1996 in Shelbyville. He survives.

She was employed as a laborer at For Bare Feet in Helmsburg for the past year. Prior to that, she worked at Cummins in Columbus for four years.

Diana was the loving mother of two sons: Shon Moore and his wife Donna of Greenwood, Alan (Jade) Meyers of Martinsville, two step daughters: Megan Goff and husband Geoff of Shelbyville and Melissa McKinney of Gwynneville. She will be missed by her grandchildren: Emily, Reed & Nelson Moore of Greenwood, Tanner & Ava Thompson of Martinsville and two step-grandchildren: Ethan & Bailey Goff of Shelbyville. Diana leaves behind her parents and three sisters: Janet Mullins of Columbus, Gayle Decker of Indianapolis & Rhonda Dolph of Greenwood.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother: Marie Wilson and Paternal Grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. James A. Drake.

She was a member of the Bean Blossom Baptist Church and past member of the Meridian Woods Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Diana cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and was the back bone of her family. She enjoyed riding horses, being outdoors working in her yard and listening to country music. Diana also enjoyed reading her Bible, canning and was known for her great cooking. She also enjoyed photography and putting together photo albums.
