Cherry Darlene (Thompson) White, age 62 passed away Tuesday
morning, May 11, 2010 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
She was a resident of Morgantown.
Darlene was born August 19, 1947 in Westmoreland, TN to the late
Marvin D. and Nellie E. (Carter) Thompson. She married her loving
and devoted husband of 45 years Denton O. White in Tompkinsville,
KY on October 17, 1964. He survives.
Darlene was a loving mother and homemaker and attended the Church
of Jesus Christ in Indianapolis. Darlene cherished spending time
with her grandchildren, helping others and caring for her family.
She enjoyed working in her garden, canning and cooking for family
and friends.
She will be missed by her children: Darla S. Turner of Spencer and
Denton W. White of Trafalgar. Darlene will be remembered by her
sisters: Shirley Lloyd of Greenwood & Debra Burkholder of
Indianapolis; her beloved grandchildren: Cody Adam Bear Turner of
Spencer and Dallas O. White of Trafalgar and her goddaughter: Holly
Stout.
Darlene was preceded in death by one brother: Terry Thompson.
