Cathy A. (Fulk) Clawson age 57 passed away Sunday evening,
October 31, 2010 at her residence in Nashville. She was a former
resident of Union City.
She was born November 23, 1952 in Winchester to Edmon H. and Patsy
(Wilson) Fulk. She married her devoted husband of 30 years Darrell
C. Clawson on June 28, 1980 in Union City. He survives.
Survivors include her father Edmon H. Fulk of Union City; two
children: Amy Winkler of Green County and Kory (Jenny) Clawson of
Bloomington. She will be remembered by her four grandchildren:
Bailey & Josh Winkler both of Green County, Levi & Danielle
Winkler both of Indianapolis; one sister: Judi (Jim) Michael of
Denver, CO and brother: Steve Fulk of Union City; two best friends:
Melanie Kershaw & Sherry Emerson both of Brown County.
Cathy was preceded in death by her mother: Patsy Fulk and one
brother: Eddie Fulk.
She attended Union City High School in Union City and enjoyed
boating at Dale Hollow and on the Ohio River. Cathy loved spending
time with her dogs: Murfee, Sadie & Cooper. She loved to
volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Brown County and working the
Polls on Election
Day. Cathy enjoyed working in her yard and horseback
riding.
Cathy was co-owner & operator, alongside her husband, of D
& C Masonry
of Brown County. Prior to that, she worked 14 years for the Brown
County Water Utility.
The Rev. Wayne Baker will conduct a funeral service 7 pm Wednesday
at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization
Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from
4 pm till service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Cathy to the Hospice
of South Central Indiana, 2626 17th Street Columbus, IN
